| “Mexicano” it is the name of our show that tries to conjugate the past and the present, taking tendencies from our original traditions and bring them to the public with joy and pride. |
| Creating a sense of our culture and interest in our own backgrounds, and engendering a sense of respect for other human races. |
| It is not pure folklore, it is the Mexico that we never left behind and is always with us, everywhere we go with the respect that our roots are deserved, because knowing of where we come we will only define to where we want to go. |
| “Mexicano” es el nombre de nuestro programa, que trata de conjugar el pasado y el presente, tomando tendencias de nuestras tradiciones originales y así llevarlas al publico con alegría y orgullo. |
| Creando conciencia de nuestra propia cultura e interés por nuestro pasado, formando así un sentido de respeto hacia otras razas humanas. |
| No es folklore puro, es el México que nunca dejamos y que siempre nos acompaña, con el respeto que nuestras raíces se merecen, pues solo sabiendo de donde venimos sabremos definir a donde queremos ir. |

Now a days, the regional dancers show their Spanish influence, by dancing on wooden platform, so their steps sound louder as they are dancing, which it has been performed by a brave men and his pretty lady, dressing in colorful clothes, such as those imitating the prance of a horse (since horses played an important part in the conquest and caused a deep impression on the Aztecs). | En la actualidad, los bailarines regionales muestran su influencia española, ejecutando los bailes en plataforma de madera, la cuál hace los pasos de cada uno de sus ejecutantes más resonantes, es realizado por el bravo caballero y su hermosa dama, vistiendo coloridos trajes tratando de imitar el cabalgar de un caballo, (basándose en la importancia que jugaron los caballos en la conquista y que causaran una impresión muy profunda en los Aztecas). |

| Being established in 1993, besides sharing and preserving the richness of the Mexican culture, one of the ballet's main goals is to keep the younger generations in direct contact with their roots and traditions creating a sense of culture, interest and pride in their own cultural backgrounds, and engendering a sense of respect for other cultures. Lupita Sosa, it's director, is very proud of this young group of performers who are very enthusiastic and full of energy. This group has dedicated long hours of practice and has been presented with a couple of frustrations, wich have been essential to accomplish their goals. At the end they have been able to keep their love and respect for the Mexican traditions. After giving up most of their spare time to learn and practice, today they are proud and glad to present you the harvest of such hard work. You are about to experience in full color a joyful, beautiful and traditional Mexican Fiesta. | Este grupo fundado en 1993, además de difundir y preservar la riqueza de la cultura mexicana, ha tenido como uno de sus objetivos, el mantener a las jóvenes generaciones en contacto con sus raíces y tradiciones, creando conciencia de la cultura, interés y orgullo por su pasado cultural y creando el sentido de respeto por las otras culturas. Su directora Lupita Sosa, se siente muy orgullosa de este grupo de jóvenes entusiastas, detrás de los cuales hay horas de ensayo y entrega, de frustraciones, y también de logros; jóvenes que a pesar de todo han sabido mantener su respeto y amor por las costumbres mexicanas. Dedicando gran parte de su tiempo libre aprendiendo, y ensayando, hoy cosechan los frutos de su arduo trabajo y se sienten muy satisfechos de presentar en su colorido programa, la alegría de sus fiestas y la hermosura de sus tradiciones. |
